What prostate procedure or surgery will have the least amount of side effects of retrograde ejaculation, no semen, and subdued climax. I have bph.
BPH treatment: 59 y m with BPH & tamsulosin. Depending on the size & complications your urologist can give best option. Minimal invasive procedures are microwave, laser, needle ablation. Then turp, nerve sparing prostatectomy, incision prostate. The later two preserve erection & ejaculation. Turp is 90% done &5% retrograde ejaculation rate. Again size & complications determine the choice of procedure. Thanks.See 1 more doctor answer

Hi just been told by consultant that I have an enlarged prostate but due to my age44 does not want to administer drugs but did not explain why?
Prostate: Second guessing your doctor after you leave the examination room is hardly productive. Call him/her for clarification. But given that no medication or intervention was prescribed you probably don't have anything serious. It can be intimidating to undergo a medical examination, but be sure to voice any concerns or questions during the process for maximum value. Seek a 2nd opinion if unsatisfied.See 1 more doctor answer
Not relevant...: It is not relevant; you may intercourse or ejaculate whenever or however you can tolerate and perform. But remember: Sex arousal - ejaculation will increase circulation through it and cause vigorous muscle contraction. Being "too" often in such may exaggerate the already existing urinary symptoms. So, let your body tell its own story and respect it, and take actions to adapt accordingly. Best wish

May Have Infection: You may have an infection in your bladder or maybe some of the stone material is still in bladder. You need to see your doctor and be checked. Meanwhile I recommend you drink 6 oz. Cranberry juice and over one quart of water per day. Good idea to take magnesium citrate or magnesium malate once daily as it helps prevents stones. No, . ..: Drinking more water would not affect how your bladder and urethra work together, but just force kidneys to excrete more urine naturally resulting in peeing more often; this is true for humans with normally functioning kidneys. Clinical or imaging.: A digital rectal exam by an experienced urologist is one way, though there is significant interobserver variability. The best way is by transrectal ultrasound (trus), where measurements can be made & volume calculated. This test is usually unnecessary as urinary obstruction is a clinical diagnosis, not completely related to size, and prostate medications are given to see if there is a response.See 1 more doctor answer
Not necessarily: No it's not bad. Drinking lots of water is good for your body but the bad part of having a large prostate is you may have issues with needing to go urinate more often and more often at night with more fluid intake.
