There are number of : Types of therapeutic interventions. Was the psychiatrist trying to make a point? Was the psychiatrist concerned about your welfare ; safety? Was this a provider who was being unprofessional? I can't answer any of these questions for you - so i don't know. I wouldn't wait: If she is acutely paranoid with new onset of symptoms i would not wait. If she has thoughts of harm to self or others than it is a medical emergency. If she needs to be evaluated at the er then they may be able to help you to arrange for a psychiatric evaluation (if she is not admitted). ...Read more

Refill..may need f/u: The condition which comes to my mind under which i would not refill a long-term patient would be if i had not seen the patient for an extended period of time. Service dog: An emotional support animal & a service dog are not one & the same. An emotional support animal provides its owner comfort. A service dog has been specifically trained to perform tasks which will ameliorate the owners disability. Psychiatrist prescr medic only for ocd+mdd, no anxiety, he didn't care about noise sensitivity, some time every one can mistake, so any comment?

Not anxiety?: Both ocd and mdd have anxiety as a component. If your doctor is giving you medication for one or both of these, they should help with anxiety over time. Noise sensitivity is fairly common with ocd. ...Read more
