Constipation: Small sized stool round in shape means it has been sitting in the colon for a long time and all the water is absorbed and has formed pebbles. Diarrhea caused by stool softner is probably water flowing around impacted stool. Have to cleanse the bowel. Avoid white flour, meat and use more green vegetables and fruits. Drink a lot of water. Your blood: The most likely thing is that it is your blood that he is consuming while breast feeding. If you have any soreness, cracking or irritation of your nipples, they can bleed while he is nursing and he can actually swallow a significant amount of blood from this.
