My Nose Is Pulsating
The nerves on both sides of my nose pulsate endlessly and I think are causing the pain in my sinus area, is this a neurological disorder?
Likely no: It's hard to know what you mean by "nerves on both sides of the nose." this is likely a pulsating sensation coming from pressure within the maxillary sinuses due to infection or from irritation of the infra-orbital nerves which run under the eye and through the top of the maxillary sinus before exiting the skull below your eye to give sensation over the cheeks. ...Read more
Left nostril seems to pulsate, does this make any sense. If so what could this possibly be. Sometimes it gets better if I blow my nose. Is this something serious or possibly allergies.
A little unusual...: Nope, Teresa, I've never heard that one before. Could it be rebound from overusing decongestants such as Afrin (oxymetazoline) nose spray (or illicit drugs?) You are describing blood vessel congestion which normally wouldn't clear with nose blowing. No, you ought to have rhinoscopy done - a fiberoptic examination of your nose to rule out foreign body or a vascular growth/abnormality. Call an otolaryngologist. ...Read more

Could I have vertebral artery dissection? I have pulsating ears jaws cheeks bridge of nose between eyes, head rush w/ bend over whooshing in ears
Unlikely: Most people with dissection of their vertebral have no symptoms because they receive circulation from their 2 carotids and other vertebral - all of which is connected in the circle of willis. Nonetheless, you should be checked for other issues like aneurysms, very severe hypertension, or simple things like a plugged eustachian tube and otitis media. ...Read more

Hi I have a pulsating pain at the top of my head and it wakes me up. Usually it is when I sleep on the rightside, the pain is also the top right side.
Possible Bruxism: Being awakened or when waking up, if you have a headache, that is a very good indicator of bruxism, which is clenching or grinding your teeth at night. The muscles that control your jaw run up the front, sides and back of your head, including the top and back of the neck. It often isn't something that is audible to a partner while sleeping.
