Allergies & sinus: This could be allergies. It could also be a chronic sinus infection as well. The ears popping tell me that your eustachian tube is not working like it should... I would lean torward a nasal or sinus issue. Reflux is possible as well. Cold symptoms: Sounds like a touch of a cold. Use a humidifier, when you shower have someone sit in the bathroom with the baby. Use saline drops in nose if the congestion is interfering with the baby's ability to feed. Allergies likely: Sounds like fairly typical allergy symptoms. A cold(uri) and allergy can be very similar, but a cold lasts 5-7 days and you feel more sick. Try: Discolored mucous is not necessary a sinus infection. I normally wait a week. Try inhaling steam or taking a hot shower. This can break up the congestion naturally.
