My Nose Has Not Stop Runny
Runaway running: Nose for how long? A cold usually lasts 7-10 days, but can last as long as 14 days. If your nose has been runny for longer, then could be sinus infection, allergies or non-allergic runny nose. Talk with your doc about the right problem and the right treatment for you. Take care. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
My 22 month olds fever has broke, still has a really bad cough and cough til he pukes, his nose is runny non stop with light green mucous and stuffy?
My baby had chest congestion but no runny nose. I've been using a vaporizer. Now her nose has started running. Doesthis mean she's getting better or worse?
Depends: Both are symptoms of a common cold and can appear at different times, but do not mean it is getting worse. However, if the symptoms are lasting more than 7-10 days or there are additional symptoms including, but not limited to such as fever, difficulty breathing, wheezing , i would recommend seeing a pediatrician. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
My son has a horrible runny nose and is stuffed up. Eyes are watering. Sneezing and coughing. Vaporizer, suction not working?
Allergies likely: Sounds like fairly typical allergy symptoms. A cold(uri) and allergy can be very similar, but a cold lasts 5-7 days and you feel more sick. Allergies last much longer, like for an entire season, or year round. You don't feel quite as ill with allergies. Consider trying otc antihistamines appropriate for the age of your child. You may need to see pediatrician. ...Read more

Why has my 4mnth old son been having coldlike symptoms but no fever & really bad congestion in nose and throat and constant eye boogers since birth.
My 8 year old daughter has been getting unexplained nose bleeds, sometimes hard to stop. She is healthy and has no other symtom do not know what triggers the nose bleeds. She does not pick her nose.
Dry nose: She probably has a dry nasal lining and secretly picks her nose sometimes (or blows it hard). The vessels in the nose then get exposed and periodically -for no obvious reason- they can bleed. Use a nasal saline gel like ayr gel 2x a day for a month then nightly as needed. This is usually worse in winter (with heating) or summer (with ac) as everything is drier then. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

My 3 yr old has horrible allergies. He has red, puffy, itchy eyes and a runny nose and sneezing. No allergy meds are helping him, what can I do?
Allergists: Please take your baby to see an allergist. An allergist can help identify what allergens are causing all the trouble. It may be possible to eliminate them from the baby's environment. There are a number of prescription medications that may help. And allergy shots, although young children don't like them, are also an option. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
Cold symptoms: Sounds like a touch of a cold. Use a humidifier, when you shower have someone sit in the bathroom with the baby. Use saline drops in nose if the congestion is interfering with the baby's ability to feed. Put a couple of drops of saline in, and then if doesn't sneeze them out, use your bulb suction to clear out mucous. Avoid irritants such as smoke. ...Read more

My 12 month old daughter has a runny nose. Suddenly very stuffy. No fever yet.
Any tips to help her breather better and to stop the mucus?
Cold or flu likely: This time of year, we are seeing lots of influenza and RSV (a cold in most children, but can cause long lasting wheezing and pneumonia in others). If he is eating well, sleeps and looks well, and is not in distress, you can watch and treat symptomatically (extra fluids, sleep, humidifier). If not, see your dr promptly--and get a flu shot when he's better! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Nasal congestion: A 6 month old baby with stuffy nose swallows his mucus from the nose, and sometimes the tissues around the vocal cords (voice box) swells a little, causing a change in his voice. Not really a sore throat. See this: http://www.healthychildren.org/English/health-issues/conditions/ear-nose-throat/Pages/Children-and-Colds.aspx ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
My 5yr old daugther wont stop coughing! she spits a lot of saliva and has a runny nose. I've tried allergy medicines and hunny syrups.!nothing wors.
See an allergist: That would help better, although getting a humidifier might help, but momentarily, if you really live in a very dry environment, it would soothe some. Looking for a cause for your symptoms and treating it is useful in the long term, start with your doctor, check aaaai.org or acaai.org for an allergist in your area, good luck ...Read more
