Depends: How old is your baby? The first few months of life babies can get many different lesions, most of which are considered normal and expected to go away if left alone. If it is red at the base, growing in size/number, appears tender (hurts if touched) then it needs to be evaluated by his doctor. http://www.babycenter.com/101_visual-guide-to-childrens-rashes-and-skin-conditions_10332129.bc ...Read more

I noticed a tiny red bump, it has a clear center, in the inside of my lower lip area. The bump is located across from my lower teeth. What is it?
Not sure: There is no way to know without actually being able to see it. It may be something called a mucocoele that occurs when the duct of a small salivary gland becomes clogged. If it is, it may\ may not go away on its own. If it's not gone in two weeks, make sure you see your dentist for an accurate diagnosis. In the meantime, unless it gets larger or becomes painful, i wouldn't be too concerned about. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
My gf has a tongue piercing that she's had for awhile, yesterday where the bottom ball meets the bottom of her mouth is irritated and has a small bump?
Blocked Saliva Gland: Any piercings that communicate with the oral cavity can be very damaging to the hard (teeth, bone) and soft (gum, tongue, lip, cheek) tissues. While i don't like to see these piercings, i recommend plastic instead of metal as this is slightly less traumatic to the tissues. It could simply be irritation or could have caused something else like a blocked salivary gland. See a dentist for evaluation. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
