Can para ovarian cysts & or ovarian cysts cause leg numbness? I had sonogram & was told I have a para ovarian cyst & an ovarian cyst, each 2cm

Usually not: Two 2 cm cysts are generally not big enough to cause leg numbness. Get checked out for another cause. Also the small cyst on the ovary will likely resolve on its own in several weeks. ...Read more

Here are some....: Clinically, you likely suffer from some disorders of local muscles, joints, or nerves which, at their stage, can not be detected by any imaginable studies although possibly well serving high demand of political correctness for reassurance & commercialism for money. How long till fluid goes away after burst ovarian cyst I look like a ballon my legs full of fluid to?

How long till fluid goes away after burst ovarian cyst I look like a ballon my legs full of fluid to?

Very concerning: A ruptured ovarian cyst would definitely not cause anything like what you are describing. If you are really swelling in your legs, abdomen and have been diagnosed with an ovarian mass please see your doctor asap. These are concerning symptoms for more serious conditions than an ovarian cyst. The kidneys and heart need evaluation too. ...Read more

Does an ovarian cyst cause leg pain and pelvic pain?

Does an ovarian cyst cause leg pain and pelvic pain?

Depends: It would need to be of a sufficiently large size to do so. Remember that ovaries produce cysts every month, and these (functional) cysts are normal, and don't cause pain. If they get larger than normal, (my opinion >3-4cm) or grow in size rapidly, or if they cause bleeding into the abdominal cavity then they can cause pelvic pain. Sometimes the pain will refer down the inner or front of the up. Thigh. ...Read more

2 months ago I found out I had a right ovarian cyst @ ER I'm still having sharp pains lower back pains leg pains and headaches could it b cancerous?

Unlikely.: Some cysts, like serous cystadenomas are precursors of cancers. Any cyst the persists for more than 2-3 menstrual periods should be checked further, particularly in those who have a history of ovarian cancer. You are young to think of such possibillities, but your pain is likely from your cyst, which can get filled with blood. You also could have painful endometriosis. Get it removed asap. ...Read more

Neuro dr says leg pain notcoming from spine. Thinks fluid from rptrd ovarian cyst from jan irritatrd sacral nerves, may need to be"washed out"thoughts?

See your Gyn Doc: If the neurosurgeon has cleared the spine as a cause, then I would have your gyn specialist see you, and possibly with help of an examination and possibly a pelvic ultrasound, confirm your DX and treat you.
Good luck. ...Read more

I have severe pain in my right leg due to an ovarian cyst. I can actually feel the bones hurt. Is it normal?

Remote possibility: The only way I can imagine the association of your leg pain and ovarian cyst is pressure effect of the cyst to nerves supplying the lower extremities. For this to happen, the cyst should be big and would produce other symptoms first than leg pain ...Read more

Leg has tingling sensation had ovarian cyst rupture a week ago and dual pain in lower pelvic area witch shots down leg giving off tingling sensation?

Leg has tingling sensation had ovarian cyst rupture a week ago and dual pain in lower pelvic area witch shots down leg giving off tingling sensation?

Referred pain: It is hard to tell the cause of your symptoms. It is possible that you have referred pain. This could result from the inflammatory process in the pelvic area due to your recent cyst rupture. Your nervous system detect the inflammatory process. However your brain and spinal cord interprets the problem coming from your legs instead in the form of tingling. Check with your physician for proper care. ...Read more

Could ovarian cysts cause leg weakness?

Could ovarian cysts cause leg weakness?

If gigantic: Typical ovarian cysts are too small to compress nerves leaving the lower spinal cord to enter the leg. A super large cyst could conceivably affect the retro-peritoneal ilio-hypogastric or ilio-inguinal nerves, or even the femoral, but I have never encountered this. I have seen post-operative complications affecting all of these nerves however. ...Read more

I have a 93mm unilocular midline ovarian cyst, possibly cystadenoma. Pain in lower buttock down leg, very restricted urination.

Need removal: Typically a CA-125 level would be checked to help determine the likelihood of malignancy. Sounds low based on the US findings. Regardless, the mass should be removed to relieve your symptoms and so that a pathologist can evaluate the ovary. Most times both tubes and ovaries would be removed and sometimes the uterus. Discuss with surgeon to make the best decision. Hope this helps. ...Read more
