It's Not Lung Cancer: Lung cancer that is causing symptoms should show up on a chest X-ray. At your age, the odds of having lung Cancer are extremely remote. So quit thinking about lung Cancer. get your attention off of this idea and focus on your health with daily exercise and healthy eating. Here are few possibl: This is unlikely to be anything like cancer. So i would not worry or get anxious about it. You can either get a medical check up and have your doctor check you. A chest x-ray would assure that your lungs are ok. But i would only do this if the pain persists for >3/4 weeks or if it gets worse on breathing or on coughing. You can easily watch it for 1-2 more weeks and see if tylenol (acetaminophen) can stop it. ...Read more
