Yes: These are symptoms that can be transient and benign, but also could be helpful in the greater context of your medical health (possible medication side effects, potentially important within the context of other symptoms, etc). Never hesitate to let your doctor know about any concerns/observations you have. Their job is to determine significance. ...Read more

Possibilities are tendonitis, arthritis, cartilage tear(medial meniscus), or ligament strain (medial collateral ligament). Vascular disease is less likely. If this has been long-standing, or is associated with knee swelling knee, or persists for more than a few days, see your physician or an orthopedist, for evaluation/exam/mri. ...Read more

Other problems can occur, so a primary care doctor, a sports medicine doctor, or an orthopedic doctor can evaluate. Often with active teens, knee problems show up when sports training increases, when a new sport is started, or new shoes are used, etc... ...Read more

Knee Pain in Walker: I will only attempt alittle advice on the knee pain. From a podiatrist's perspective, you need to prevent your knee pain from getting worse. You need to cut your workouts in half, slow your pace down, make sure your shoes are stable and cushioned. A good running shoe store can help. Ice the knee twice daily for 20 minutes and see if an Ace wrap helps. See an orthopedist for advice if swelling. ...Read more

What are the symptoms of having a medial extrusion in the left knee? Would this be a mensicus tear? Does this require surgery? Pain on the medial side

Prob Meniscus: Although the phrase "medial extrusion" is an unusual description of a condition of the knee, it sounds as if you are dealing with a medial meniscus tear with instability of the meniscus. Most meniscal injuries/tears will not heal on their own due to the lack of blood supply. Surgery is therefore often indicated. See an orthopaedic surgeon for evaluation. ...Read more

It will cause you pain and a felling of fullness, but should not cause leg, knee or calf swelling, redness or heat. Any of those symptom need evaluated by your doctor. ...Read more

See details: The issues would be unrelated unless the ibs was actually misdiagnosed and the GI issues are really either crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis. I suspect you really have inflammatory bowel disease and not ibs. ...Read more
