Usually related to : Fatigue or stress. It's not usually related to anxiety. It's known as myokymia, and is a temporary, benign situation like you mentioned. It usually goes away after a couple of days upon getting good rest. ...Read more

See eye doc: Twitching is typically from lack of sleep and stress and usually resolves in 4-6 weeks. If it progresses and you can't open your eye or more of face becomes involved then Botox can be used. If if progresses or fails to go away in a few weeks, you will need an mri. ...Read more
