Maybe a little: Snoring is due to airway obstruction. Any blockage between the nostrils/lips and the windpipe (trachea) can cause snoring. The most common area of obstruction include the nose, palate, uvula, tonsils and tongue. In as much as snoring has some nasal causes, if your allergies make it harder for you to breath through your nose then they can be related. Suggestions: Have you tried an inhaled nasal steroid for the rhinitis? Your dentist can make you a mouth guard that may help with your snoring. There are also surgical procedures. You may want to see an ENT if you haven't already. ...Read more

Try the afrin test. Have him use afrin nasal spray as directed for no longer than 5 days. Take note of his snoring days 3,4&5.
