My Feet Hurt After Walking On A Treadmill
Lack of suuport: When you walk on a hardwood floor, especially while barefoot, you lose all support for your arch and no longer have any cushioning for the bottoms of your feet. Both of these situations will be very uncomfortable, as well as potentially detrimental to your feet.See 1 more doctor answer
Your doctor may also suggest a safe exercise plan. Walking is usually the easiest type of exercise, but swimming or other low-impact exercises can work just as well. Exercise is an important way to keep blood sugar in control, and physical activity in pregnancy has been found to decrease the risk ...Read more
Good foot evaluation: The problem with foot pain is that when your feet hurt, it causes you to avoid activity, leading to whole body deconditioning. This can have consequences for your overall health. First, check in with your primary care doctor to make sure that there is not a systemic problem. A podiatrist can make specific recommendations for foot wear and treatments.See 1 more doctor answer
The outside of my wife's feet hurt (badly) whenever she runs. She can walk w/o any pain and as soon as she runs...Ouch! What's w/her feet?
The balls of my feet hurt when I walk. I don't know why. Never happened before. Can you shed some light on this and perhaps tell me what to do.?
Metatarsalgia: Sounds like metatarsalgia. There are many reasons why people get metatarsalgia pain. Fat pad atrophy, hammertoes, improper shoes, lack of arch support, overuse, caves foot type, etc... are some of the more common reasons. Hopefully its transient. A little rest and some anti inflammatories should help. If it persists visit your podiatrist for a definitive diagnosis and treatment.
I had to walk round with wet feet all day yesterday and today my feet hurt where they were wet why?

If I walk for a little while the bottom of my feet hurt really bad, like I need to sit down what does that mean it's not normal I know that?
Arch Support: You most likely need arch support. If you have flat feet they get tired easily and start hurting because they don't have enough support. I recommend seeing a podiatrist for evaluation and they can guide you to a good solution.
My husband who is 78 yrs old can't hardly walk he say his feet hurt so bad they are swollen and he says it feels like he is walking on rocks?
See a doctor: If this swelling is new or suddenly worse, he should be seen urgently. If they are discolored, purple or black, then he needs to be seen at the emergency department. Please also be cautious about falls, as falls can be devastating in the elderly. People who have abnormal feeling in the feet can easily fall. Good luck.
Need some advice when im lying or sitting down for a while when I get up to move my feet hurt and struggle to walk sometimes its like I have no feet?
Symptoms post rest: Symptoms like this are typically nerve. The laying or sitting positions can cause you to stress the nerves in your low back causing you to lose sensation in your feet. If those symptoms are typically pain in the heels, then you probably have some form of plantar fasciitis. If it is a combination of numbness and pain, typically a branch of the sciatic nerve is involved. A back specialist is needed
After walking around a store for so long my feet hurt really bad and I just have to sit down and take a break but I'm only 14. Why having so much pain?
The soles of my feet hurt when I walk and eventually leads to pain up to my thighs. What's wrong?
Sciatica: The nerves in our lower extremity travel from our back where the divide and go down each limb. If your feet hurt your thighs may be symptomatic as well.
My feet hurt all over. When I get up in the morning I can't walk on them. Now my ankles are swollen.?
No feeling on bottom of feet no feeling on bottom of my feet my feet hurt feels like I am walking on egg shells
Neuropathy: Need to see a doctor. It sounds like you are suffering from peripheral neuropathy.
When I first walk in morning after getting out of bed my feet hurt til I start walking a little then their fine?
The bottem of my feet hurt with sharp pains and feel swollen but are not, and really hurts to walk nothing else?
Replacement insoles: Take the insoles out of your shoes and replace them with ones that have more cushioning and support. I like spenco products. The one I recommend most is the spenco polysorb cross-trainer insole. This will give you cushioning at heel strike and help decrease the impact on your feet. It may not have an "immediate" effect though. See an podiatrist if symptoms persist.

Many possibilities: Foot pain could be as a result of many different things. A thorough history and physical exam and possibly some laboratory and radiology exams are needed to determine the exact cause. Causes of pain may include: trauma (fracture, sprain, arthritis), infection, metabolic conditions (gout), musculoskeletal or biomechanical abnormality and neurologic conditions (neuropathy).See 1 more doctor answer
