My Eyes Have Difficulty Adjusting To Brightness
Sudden blind fields in vision and blinking spots , also headaches and i lose my ability to talk and think.
Up to 12 hours.: I am of the opinion that you should never sleep with your contacts on. Even though the contact lens companies promote this, you are at greater risk of developing a corneal infection such as a corneal ulcer that can leave a permanent scar that might result in permanent decreased vision. I suggest daily wear disposable lenses. Remove your lenses immediately if you happen to sleep with them on. ...Read more

General health?: Sometimes vision changes can be caused by high or low blood sugar - it is important to be tested for diabetes. Also, sometimes thyroid disease can cause eye changes. Try to avoid too much caffeine and concentrated sugars and see if that helps. Also, it is common in the 40's for the lenses of the eyes to lose the ability to change focus, so I would recommend another eye exam. ...Read more

Pain in the left side of my forehead above eye, eyes keep watering and drooping, everything seems to move slower, should I be worried?
Itchy?: If the eyes are itchy and watering (on both sides) this could be due to pollen, or other environmental, allergy. The pain sounds consistent with frontal sinus pressure. Often, a long-acting second generation antihistamine such as loratidine or cetirizine is a good first step toward finding relief. ...Read more
Sudden extreme Nausea and trouble focusing eyes when driving. Sensitivity to lights and headache. I have to pull over feeling of passing out.
I have headaches behind mymy right eye. Most painful when trying to sleep & close my eyes. Could this be related to new glasses prescription?
Most unlikely.: Most headache pain is usually relieved by closing the eyelids, so pain increased by closing the eyes makes this immediately atypical. There is almost no possibility that your pain is triggered by your new glasses--unless you mean new contact lenses. I would be concerned about migraines, glaucoma, corneal injury--even brain or eye tumors. To answer your valid concern, request a proper medical exam. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I looked at an ipad on full brightness in total darkness and my eyes have burned for weeks. What can I do?
Eye irritation: Computer use and prolonged reading is associated with a reduced blink rate. When you blink, your natural tears lubricate your cornea and conjunctiva (the clear dome over your eye and the "skin" on the eyeball). When conjunctiva is less lubricated it can become inflamed-thus a red eye. Use some lubricating eye drops prior to and during these gaming stints. ...Read more
Is there any medical term to describe "difficulty in fantasizing things" means when we close eyes and reminds past memories.
Hope more reply too: There could be various reasons for such a difficulty, but in psychotherapy some might call it resistance or defensiveness. Some forms of brain damage could result in such a problem too. It's also possible that some may never develop the skill at all due to intellectual deficits or cultural values. Borderline trauma at Piaget's stage VI can do it. ...Read more
