You can buy Tears Naturale (artificial tears) at the pharmacy and use this to irrigate the eye. If no help irrigatin: g your eyes under the faucet, it's time to go to your eye doctor, and have your kid exerted to remove the lash or foreign object. Of course it also depends on how strong the prescription is, with extremely high degrees myopia or hyperopia the vertex difference does make a difference.
