If no help irrigatin: g your eyes under the faucet, it's time to go to your eye doctor, and have your lid exerted to remove the lash or foreign object. Not dangerous: It can be helpful to rinse your eyes with tap water at room temperature by splashing water flowing from the tap into open eyes.
