Earache: Is drainage from ear or nose/throat? May be "swimmer's ear" infxn of outer canal (try otc products for that & heat to ear) or middle ear infxn or eustachian tube inflammation (for latter 2 conditions, otc decongestant like sudafed may help alleviate symptoms). If not better in couple days, or if worse, see fp/ent for exam. Remember: no q-tips in ear canals! ...Read more

Family practice : You may have eustachion tube dysfunction. Infection could be clearing but your ear still feels full. Try taking a decongestant. This may help resolve the swelling. See your dr if it persists longer than 2 weeks. ...Read more

Eustachian tube : The sensation of ear fullness and decreased hearing can be related to blockage of the eustachian tube (the tube that runs from your middle ear space to the back of your nose) or from fluid which has accumulated in the middle ear space. Don't pop them: You could blue out the tympanic membrane so do not pop them. You could have a few issues with the eats so it is best to see your doctor for evaluation and treatment ...Read more
