Hard to be sure: When mom has her first ever CMV infection in pregnancy, the outcome is very time sensitive.The earlier in pregnancy the more likely to have serious impact. Later in pregnancy it has less effect and worries focus on hearing damage.Your numbers under treatment looks good & you are doing all you can.I would enroll in an early childhood intervention plan and monitor hearing every few months. ...Read more

Probably: Yes this rash is likely due to a virus. I am assuming she is feeling better now that the fever has ended. The rash could occur on other parts of her body too.
