I want to have abdominoplasty and am on immune suppressing drugs for r. A. Cuts take a long time to heal. Am I a poor candidate for surgery?
Every time i seem to get a cut it takes a long time to heal and always leaves a scar, i know i'm not diabetic. Is it my immune system that is weak?
Don't think so.: Scarring is a nl phenomen. Some people scar more than others. If wounds become infected they tend to scar more. Depends on a lot: Is the needle or portion of it in your foot? An infection can cause delayed healing and pain. Did you have a tetanus shot in last 5 years? Are you diabetic?
