Probably: Soon after stopping smoking, some people have an increased cough related to the lungs starting to mobilize more tar and phlegm. Chest pain is likely musculoskeletal in origin, possibly from coughing so much. Not likely anything serious at your age, but you could also be coming down with a cold or bronchitis.
