My brother has had a headache and fever for 2 days. I accidentally drank from his cup. Will I become sick too?

Maybe: Depends upon how soon after he drank from it, whether it was washed first. If he has a viral illness, hand washing and avoiding intimate contact will minimize your risk of getting infected, but classically these illnesses pass through members of the same household with regularity, and the drinking cup may or may not make any difference. ...Read more

For last 2 days my brother 36 yr coghing blood (morningcough fully covered by blood). He is non smoker and had bronchitis at age of 5. He had fever, co?

Today it has no significance other than being a strain marker. About 15-20% of strep strains have an extra gene that codes for a chemical that gives the rash. If you got your strep from bro, you would likely get a rash, but doesn't really matter. ...Read more
