Biotin doesn't: Help. Water doesn't help. Trimming doesn't help. Hairs grow in spurts with each hair on a different schedule or growing for several months followed by remaining stable for months. The only way is to have good genetics and good nutrition and good overall health. Good luck. Nothing else helps. ...Read more

May be eczema: Very dry skin may be eczema. People with eczema have dry areas of skin, are drier overall, and tend to have allergies (they are more sensitive to pollens, etc.). If it's eczema, one can try a cream like cerave. Dermatologists recommend cerave for it's ceramides ingredient, which is known to make eczema patches more normal.
