Chocolate& egg white: There are a variety of foods that make no sense in small infants. Popcorn, peanuts etc. Can be inhaled into the lungs by a pre-verbal child & cause recurrent pneumonia. So safety is sometimes an issue. I specifically avoid egg white & chocolate due to a tendency to trigger allergic rxns later.
