My Baby Has Red Bumps On His Face
My baby has red bumps all over face and body, they look like pimples. He is 8 weeks old. What could this be?
Newborn acne: Newborns develop baby acne around 2 weeks of age and it peaks around 6 weeks, usually gone by 12. If your baby is in this age group, it could be newborn acne. Your baby's pores are sensitive to changes in hormone levels (just like during the teen years) - so all those Estrogens they were exposed to during pregnancy are suddently gone - and boom - breakout! No treatment needed - be patient.
At a month old baby developed 2 red bumps on head. Ped called them strawberry marks. 8 mos later still has the bumps. Dr says its ok? Should I get 2nd
Maybe: Your pediatrician is likely right, but when it comes to your child's health there is nothing wrong with getting a second opinion. Sometimes we can benefit from getting things explained in a different way.
My child (4) has 7 tiny red bumps on her face they started 3 days ago and slowly a few more each day there is none inside her mouth or anywhere else?
Have the doc see it.: Children get so many types of rashes and skin lesions. They can be due to allergies, illness, or any number of things. Think if there have been any new foods, soaps, shampoos, detergents, etc in her life. Best is to have her pediatrician check her out to make sure that it is not a rash associated with any other type of condition. Many times, a rash's origin cannot be traced. Hope this helps.
My 1 month old son keeps getting red bumps all over his face chest and upper arms on and off. Could this be heat rash, or can he possibly be allergic to the baby wash I use for his bath?
Can baby acne spread to ears eyelids and head? Can erythema toxicum neonatum occur at 3-4 weeks and spread to those places as well? Red bumps and pus
Rash in newborn: ETN is not likely the cause (usually in first few days to 2 wks). Neonatal acne is common and generally starts around 3 weeks of age. Yes, neonatal acne can cover the areas mentioned. Another common rash to be considered is seborrheic dermatitis - this rash will typically have flaky patches as well. No treatment for acne, severe seborrhea may be tx with low dose steroid (ask your pediatrician)See 1 more doctor answer

What is a good drug store medicine for an allergic reaction? I have redness on my eyelids and a lot of red bumps all over my face.
Benedryl: Benadryl or the generic called "diphenhydramine" is often the drug store's own brand of allergy medicine. It can possibly cause some drowsiness so use caution but it can be your first line choice for an allergic reaction. If it does not help or the reaction gets worse or you start to have any trouble swallowing, go to the er asap for help.
Hiii m too slim want to get healthy and my face is too prone to oily skin plus white puss pimples and red bumps having blood and pain and redness?
Eat healthy: Eat a diet with at least 80 grams of complete (animal or soy) protein every day and lots of fresh vegetables and fruits with some whole grains and perform regular exercise for good health. Don't worry about being too skinny if you have good energy and eat right. Try over-the counter acne medicines such as benzoyle peroxide or the Proactive products. If this isn't enough, see your doctor.See 1 more doctor answer

My son has red bumps on his face around his mouth. I'm pretty sure it is an allergic reaction, is that what it is?
My 15 month old son has red bumps on his face, tummy and back. It does not seem to bother him. He also had a fever up to 102 the last couple of days.
Roseola: Sounds like he may have roseola, otherwise known as "baby measles". He is at the prime age for this. The illness usually has a couple of days of fever. The fever then breaks as the rash develops. At that point the illness is remitting and since it is caused by a virus, no need for any medicines. If he continues with fever, then likely not roseola and should see doc to check for other illnesses.
My 7 yr old had a runny nose that he picked at and made scabby 3 days ago. Today he woke up with small pimple like red bumps on his face. No fever or other symptoms. There are 6 bumps.?

Have been bitten by something a few places on my head. Not sure what is they have left red bumps about 2cm across. Black in middle. What is it?
Wrong question: You assume you were "bitten". Did you capture something in the act? If you did you could identify it. You have sores on your scalp. Best see a dermatologist for diagnosis with treatment accordingly. Be sure of 1 thing: it has nothing to do with spiders.
