My Baby Has A Rash On His Face
My baby has a rash on his face. I think it might be eczema because his face is dry. Can i put vaseline on his face?
Go to a doctor: Baby's skin is very delicate and it is not good to treat it with things that are fine for older children and adults. A facial rash may not be serious, but it may be part of an allergic reaction or something else requiring a prescription. Make an appointment or visit an urgent care clinic to avoid problems. Vaseline does not sound good, but ask a druggist for a baby product that won't hurt. ...Read more

2 month old baby is breast fed, I went to the hospital,I'm sick, they prescribed azithromycin and Tylenol (acetaminophen) , now my baby has a rash on his face ?
HMMMM: A z-pak and tylenol (acetaminophen) are both category B for pregnancy and breast feeding (meaning they are safe). The amount of systemic absorption that gets in to breast milk is minuscule and would most likely not be the cause of the rash. If it continues, have your baby checked by Dr. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I have an itchy/redness scrotum for awhile now, it hasn't gone away with trying anti fungal creams, sprays, baby rash cream has not worked either. ?
Leave it alone: Scrotal itching and rash isn't usually due to fungal infection, which is more likely to affect the the groin (e.g. Inner thighs) than the scrotum itself. Scrotal rashes are more often due to dry skin or excessive scratching. The best thing to do is to avoid over-washing, especially with soap and hot water, and avoid scratching. In other words: leave your balls alone, and they'll get better. ...Read more
I have a itchy/red scrotum for along time, i don't scratch, I've tried-no soap, cerave soap, shampoo doesn't get on it, baby rash cream, anti fungal creams?
14 mnth baby - rash, hives, some swelling after amoxicillin. Gave 2 doses prednisone at night, & benadryl (diphenhydramine). Today, swelling in feet, ear, eye. Normal?
Ear infection?: Most toddlers ear and upper respiratory infections are viral, and will resolve on their own by treating the symptoms-humidifier, saline spray...Vs having to deal with the side effects of an antibiotic allergy. Especially when the abx don't help at all. After two doses of pred and benadryl, (diphenhydramine) and there is still swelling..Back to the doc with you! might need to go to allergist after this is all over. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
