If baby is healthy,: growing & developing normally, most likely you go in, pick her up &/or feed her when she night-cries. Wean her to a cup. Set a regular bedtime & routine: read, soothe, brush her teeth & put her in her own crib in her own room drowsy, but awake, to learn to self-calm for sleep. Since you don't state your baby's age, I have to assume he may be lactose intolerant and needs a formula change or if he's breast feeding he may not be getting sufficient milk. Crying: Does she cry during the day too or only at night? Does she stop crying when she is picked up, try to swaddle her, gentle rocking, soft soothing sounds, feed her , change diaper, a nice warm bath before she sleeps, all these can help calm her down, but is if she constantly crying & you can't comfort her, then call her pediatrician or get checked by her doctor.
