Yes!: As long as your baby is growing well, & pooping and peeing regularly, then he may not need to eat every 4 hours. Those recommendations are good guidelines but every baby is unique! kudos to you for exclusively breastfeeding him! it is a hard job & has so many health benefits for both of you. "fruits": A two month old does not need anything other than formula or breast milk. The exception being a child with significant reflux needing cereal. Other than that consider starting solids at/after 4 months.. From four months to a year a child will benefit from "fruits" which is any food that starts as a flower.
