My 7 Year Old Has Bad Breath
My 7 year old constantly has bad breath despite flossing brushing and mouthwash constantly what can be causing this - she's had issue since 3years old I took her to an ENT they saw nothing?

2 things: Bad breath may be due to infected tonsils/adenoids. Should be evaluated by Pediatritian. Can also be due to dental problem such as decay (from baby bottle syndrome) or from oral hygiene problem. See a Pedodontist, a childrens' dental specialist. A visit to the: Dentist and pediatrician i'm assuming have already been done. Good hygiene (oral and overall) are obviously paramount. With that said there is a dental rinse called smart mouth available otc that I have had patients report really helps. Make sure the brushing of the teeth and tongue is happening at least 2x/day for at lest 2 minutes each time. A tongue brush system by tung is also very good. ...Read more

Bleeding gums: Sign of gum infection. Bravo for brushing his teeth twice daily. Have to brush for 2 full minutes by the clock with a pea-sized portion of fluoridated toothpaste. Rest, fluids and...: Fever is how our body fights infection. It is most likely that she has a viral infection. Antibiotics won't help and medicine like Tylenol (acetaminophen) will sabotage her immune system and prolong her illness; OK to give that if she feels miserable but best to let it run its course.
