No too high: Fever is a way of your body to fight infection. Some illnesses cause high fever and some children tend to run high fevers. Usually there is no danger in just the fever. The concern is about the underlying illness that caused the fever. Fever makes them more uncomfortable but does not hurt them. Fever &l ethargy: If your child is lethargic, would not eat or drink with fever& cough you need to take him to his pediatrician ASAP or go to urgent care center or back to the hospital, try to control the fever with tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen & luke warm bathing, keep him hydrated with frequent sips of fluids. Bright lime green poop? My 2 year old son has been having bright lime green poop it don't even look like poop I have never seen any kids poop like this it has been going on for 3 to 4 months now i take him to to the hospital because he runs fever for no r

Hello. : Hello. I can’t diagnose the reason for your son’s bright lime green poop. However any thing which causes the feces to transit his system too quickly could cause it to turn green. Bile is yellowish green and it digests fat. As the bile goes through the gut, it turns from green to brown from enzyme action. If it goes through the colon too quickly, there isn’t time for that to occur and the feces are green. Additionally, the fast transit time prevents fluids from being properly reabsorbed through the colon and so the feces is usually loose or liquid as well. Here is a list of possible causes for green feces to peruse: malabsorption, overgrowth of the wrong types of bacteria in the gut (sometimes caused by antibiotics), medication side effects, celiac disease crohn’s disease and iron supplements. Of course anything with green food coloring can be a cause. This is just a small sampling of possible causes. Good luck with this. Take care. ...Read more
