Severe pain in head for over a year, muscle weakness, sensitivity to light, nausea, disorientation, decline of eyesight. Any advice please?

Looks like you need: an evaluation by a medical doctor and likely some diagnostic testing. Unsure of what diagnosis the symptoms are suggesting, possibly MS or possibly narrow angle gaucoma, but sounds like you may need to see an neurologist and eye care provider. Any doctors advice on symptoms spine pain, muscle spasms in ribs, dizziness, breathing probs, muscle weakness, tremors arms/head/legs not constant?

What's under hood?: Sounds like your car engine could use a tune up! I'd recommend seeing a primary care physician who can start the process by finding out when each problem began to discover its root cause (if possible). Labs & other studies will likely be needed. Only then, can good advice be given on lifestyle changes or medications that will get you singin' and dancin again! Good luck. ...Read more

Tearing eye lip closed slightly crooked. Normal neuro physical exam and normal eye exam. Possible Bell's palsy?

Possibly/depends,,,: It's possible that this is Bell's palsy but it depends on how severe your symptoms are and/or if anything else might have contributed to this. It could be caused by an infection flare-up or this could be a viral infection like herpes. Apparently, this can have episodes that come and go and may not even need treatment. It'd be best to see a neurologist to be sure. Best of luck. ...Read more

When a nerve in the face is damaged (not severed) does muscle weakness slowly get better or spontaneously work as the nerve heals?

When a nerve in the face is damaged (not severed) does muscle weakness slowly get better or spontaneously work as the nerve heals?

Expect this: If the nerve coverings are the source of damage, it will take about 4 weeks, but if the central axonal core is affected, recovery speed is similar to fingernail growth, about 0.1 mm per day. Your surgeon can help explain this process. ...Read more

Muscle weakness in my thigh why?

Muscle weakness x 1: weakness on one side, in one muscle group, could be due to injury or something called radiculopathy. The latter is a pinched nerve root in the lower back.
