Add muscle mass to that and clothes may get snug, e.g. Broader shoulders, bigger biceps. Want weight gain? Will need to increase calories in, and/or decrease calories out. ...Read more

Often w/ crash diets, there is xs loss of muscle, so you get more flabby w/lower weight. ...Read more

It's your money: This is a pricey vitamin-mineral preparation, with betaine (you decide, it's got some effects) and a couple of metals such as vanadium the only stuff you're not likely to find in a cheap chain-pharmacy daily tablet. I'd have trouble telling you they're worth the money. It'll be far more pleasant even short-run to male-bond with some gymrats and work yourself super-hard. Good luck. ...Read more

I walk on the treadmill every day for an hour at 4.1 mph. I've read that long slow walking leads to weight gain because of muscle loss. Why?
Exercise: FirstA959~ weight loss is the result of negative calorie intake wrt work output (exercise). So, if you take in 3000cal/day and expend 3500cal/day the 500 burned = weight loss. As a guide the exercise must be > your baseline activity, and must be significant and protracted. If you are morbidly obese walking 4.1mph for 30 – 60 mins is significant and won't cause weight gain.EXERCISE! ...Read more
All if used right: I don't know of any whey protein powder that causes "massive weight gain." in general, weight gain comes from excessive starches &/or fats. Pure protein like whey does not cause this. But one will not have muscle gain just by eating whey- only by exercising as well! I strongly advise whey from grass-fed cows not given hormones & antibiotics, even better if processed at a low temperature. ...Read more
