Muscle pain in my upper back/shoulder Got worse. I couldnt move. Most painful when I look up. Fingers numb. What muscle is it. Meds not helping. Help!

Possible pinched ner

Extremity-upper-fingers
Sounds like you may have a pinched nerve in your neck that is causing pain and numbness in your arm. With that condition, looking up will often worsen the symptoms. Try a cervical pillow, heat, and non-steroidals. If not improving, see your physician. You may need neck X-rays or an MRI. Most people improve with time but some need surgery.

A friend has a bloated stomach that is very firm to the touch and painful, similar to a pulled muscle pain with no pulled muscle. Not gas. What is it?

Doctor can evaluate

Ascites
Possibilities for causes of a bloated tummy include: enlarged liver, enlarged spleen, a big cyst, a pregnancy, a mass from the intestines, being full of poop, being full of body fluid (called ascites), a mass from a kidney, etc... A person with such symptoms needs to be seen by a doctor.

Hi, Why does my tongue hurt? It feels like a muscle pain, and struggle to eat and is painful to swallow. When i move my tongue, i get a sharp pin in my ear?

How old are you?

Vasculitis
I older people this can be a symptoms of a vascular problem. If that is the case that is called tongue claudication and can suggest vasculitis. It could be a tumor inside your tongue. It can be another tongue problem. You need to get an evaluation to clarify these symptoms.

Calf muscle pain. Help?

Hmmmm?

Leg
Lots of potential causes of calf pain including blood clots, muscle spasms, muscle tears or sprains, popliteal artery entrapment, dehydration, abnormal electrolytes, nerve injuries, exertional compartment syndrome, or even stress fractures. If it doesn't resolve with basic treatment of rest, ice, compression and elevation, you should probably get it checked.
