Cold milk gives me diarrhea and upset stomach. Hot milk, other milk products and lactose-free milk are ok. What in cold milk could be causing it?
Nothing: Cold milk and hot milk contain the same sugars and proteins. If you are lactose intolerant, you will be equally intolerant to cold and hot milk. Not really: Milk helping stomach pain, ulcers, gastritis--it's a lot of bologna-:). Iced could make it worse. Perhaps if your stomach is programmed since very young to get relief from it, then in your case, it may reduce pain. The brain and gut are closely connected. I've been pumping q4-6hrs. In the past wk, no milk flow from 1 breast & only 3 oz from the other. If i start pumping q2hrs will milk flow increase?

Pooh color...: Baby pooh comes in many colors depending on age and diet. Green is not a problem although the typical breast fed baby's pooh is yellow. The color can change based on your diet. No need: At one year, babies can drink whole milk. Usually we recommend whole milk until at least age 2 before switching to low fat milk, and wait until 3 year of age before giving non-fat milk if you want to do so.
