Multivitamin With Omega
Can i take these vitamins together: fish oil and calcium/magnesium with vit d and prenatal vitamins?
Some: The fish oil and prenatals are fine together. Ask your doctor how much calcium and vitamin d you need based on your diet. It may be worth getting a vitamin d level. If you need to take the additional calcium, it's probably best to take it apart from the prenatals, which also usually contain calcium. ...Read more

Planning to take fish oil supplements along with thiazide and Lipitor (atorvastatin) medication. Also taking multi vitamin gummies. Is this okay?
Yes but...: They can be taken together without any problem . More important point is who should be taking these . Most healthy people with even fair eating habbits, do not need any vitamin supplements. Is taking 500mg of krill oil daily ok with birth control pill? I also take vitamin d and multi vitamin.
Yes, wise to do: I recommend everyone take a multivitamin as very few people get adequate vitamin and mineral intake from their diet and drugs like sertraline may increase our need for certain vitamins. Fish oil provides essential fatty acids and have been shown to enhance effectiveness of anti-depressants. It is both safe and wise to take these supplements with sertraline. Dunno - try & see.: I hear all sorts of experiences with prenatal vitamins from my patients; long story short, you should try some and determine which one works best for you (as far as least nausea and maximum tolerability). YES- highly advised: The average multivitamin has 400 iu of vitamin d. Many experts feel it is optimal to achieve a vitamin d level of at least 45 ng/dl. Most adults need to take 4000-5000 units a day to achieve these levels, so taking 4000-5000 units plus a multivitamin is wise. Toxicity won't occur with 10, 000 units or less/day. Maybe: A recent article showed that more than 800mg of calcium taken as supplements increased heart disease so take half of your required dose as cal/mag & other half via diet. Vitamin d is important & most people are deficient or low so about 2000/day to maintain; if low may need more. Multivitamins are controversial. I think if you feel a step up with them after a few weeks then they are fine. ...Read more
Yes,really can if...: A good multivit. can help you feel better if, like well over 90% of Americans, you're deficient in one or more vitamins or minerals.
