2nd time in 3 months an U/S has shown bilateral ovarian cysts. But I thought only one ovary ovulates each month? R ovary hurts, cyst is 1cm.
I get ovarian cyst at least 1x year, they are at least 5+ cm. I have had one of my ovaries removed, should I get the other one removed also?

6-8 weeks: Normally, a ruptured cyst resolves in 6-8 wks. It depends on the size of the cyst and how much fluid spilled. Your body has to reabsorb the fluid.
