I am going to therapy for the first time, what to expect?

Excellent move: A good therapist is a competent friend who will put you at ease as you look at things about your life and thinking that are uncomfortable. You'll get the courage and insight to learn new behaviors and attitudes. Avoid therapists who urge you to place blame or be angry; embrace those who will help you understand your past while you move to a brighter future. Work hard, be brave!
