Eustachian tube dyfx: you are likely suffering from Eustachian tube dysfunction. The Eustachian tube lies between the middle ear space and the back of the nose. You can check this tube by holding your nose and blowing hard. Your ears should pop. This may help the fullness feeling in the ears. If it helps, do this at least 30 or 40 times a day. R/O TONSILITIS: LATYNGITIS and recurrent sore throats can cause tonsillitis . You need to be examined and have a throat culture. It depends: If your tonsils are small and the change in your throat is small then the likelihood of it changing your singing voice is small. The bigger your tonsils are the greater the likelihood that it will change your singing voice. The reason is that your throat and nose is your vocal tract.
