Many causes: This is generally due to normal mucous production which is abnormally expressed (poor sphincter tone, anal blockage) vs abnormal mucous production due to infection or inflammation. Intermittent nature (2X a week) is reassuring. Presume no blood. Would probably at least do flexible sigmoidoscopy even though colonoscopy only 2 years ago. See your provider when able. ...Read more

White discharge: This may be mucus, especially if you're straining to have bowel movements. If this only appeared after treatment of pinworms, it could me medicine related. I would suggest trying to get your bowel movements more regular quickly and see if your symptoms resolve.
