Mucinex Dm 12 Hour Extended Release Side Effects
I took 100mg of Tramadol. If I was to take a Mucinex-DM tablet would there be any reaction or negative side effects?
Several things: Could happen. Both medications can be sedating so combining the two may make you drowsy. I take Paxil (paroxetine) and clonazepam and I have cold/flu I need medicine but the only thing recommended is Mucinex dm which never worked for me! Is there anything else I can take that is safe less side effects?
Try topicals: The only interaction between OTC cold medicines and paroxetine is the increased risk for serotonin syndrome (rare). If you have a history of this syndrome or any others - I'd call your doctor. In the meantime - I'd suggest an intranasal spray (Nasacort) and Chloraseptic Max throat drops to treat the symptoms. DayQuil should be ok - but check with your doctor since they know your history. G'luck! ...Read more

Tonight I had 2 beers. It was two hours ago that I had my last one and I've also had two bottles of water. Can I safely take my mucinex DM?
Theoretically yes,: No interaction between beer and dextromethorphan, the cough sedating component of the Mucinex DM, but if two beers make you drowsy, and the dextromethorphan has this potential too, so it won't be advisable. Good that you asked, and good that you drank lot of plain water to flush your system, good luck ...Read more
