Try topicals: The only interaction between OTC cold medicines and paroxetine is the increased risk for serotonin syndrome (rare). If you have a history of this syndrome or any others - I'd call your doctor. In the meantime - I'd suggest an intranasal spray (Nasacort) and Chloraseptic Max throat drops to treat the symptoms. DayQuil should be ok - but check with your doctor since they know your history. G'luck! ...Read more

Very Doubtful: The only possible correlation with testosterone would be through dehydration and coincidental liver disease. An on-line study showed no reports of elevated sex hormone binding globulin (linked to testosterone levels) and mucinex (guaifenesin). If you had a hypersensitvity reaction that involved the liver testosterone could go down. ...Read more

Don't use "D": The "D" in many medications is causing your side effects of being awake and jittery. Please only use oral antihistamines without the "D" to help with nasal congestion - zyrtec, allegra, claritin. You can also try OTC nasal steroid sprays. ...Read more
