I have bronchitis &am taking Mucinex (guaifenesin) to help keep coughs productive. Can I drink tumeric milk to help as well while taking Mucinex (guaifenesin),or just one of them?
Cough meds: AngelaM543 ~ cough meds and antibiotics to treat bronchitis is a well guarded urban myth that the Pharma world keep going with great positive effect on their bottom line and next to no effect on you, and lots of s/effects in some cases. Mucinex (guaifenesin) wont harm you, and it will happily do very little for your cough as well. STREAM inhalation probably does as much. Maybe more. Tumeric milk? Can i take sudafed (pseudo ephedrine only), Mucinex (guaifenesin) (expectorant and decongestant), and nyquil all at once?
Should i see a doctor for my illness? Chest cough, congestion, headaches, bodyaches. Treating with Advil (ibuprofen) and robitussin. Drinking lots of water.
Can you take Mucinex (guaifenesin) (expectorant) and sudafed together and will it keep you up at night. Or will nyquil be better for stuffy nose and mucus in throat?
Mucinex (guaifenesin): Will not keep you up, but sudafed may. They are okay to take together. Nyquil may be better if you do not want to stay up and is okay to take with an expectorant as well (just make sure that the nyquil you bought doesn't also have an guaifenisin in it as well). Hope you feel better! ...Read more
