Depends: Bone marrow expansion throughout the skeleton typically signals either that the marrow is i appropriately expanding into these compartment such as in a myeloproliferative disorder or the present regions of marrow production are insufficient to keep up with current body needs. Probably: Should be under care of orthopedic doctor. With proper immobilization with cast or brace and then probably some physical therapy the injury will probably heal.Sometimes there may be ligamentous injury but your mri would detect this aberration.
