Hard to say: Many facilities are unique in their approach to this issue and follow strict guidelines on who is present for such a study. In my area they require an anesthesiologist or nurse anesthetist be present whose only job is tending to the patient continuously. A code team down the hall doesn't seem better than a one on one with the leader of such a team. ...Read more

MRA for h/a: MRA would show even small aneurysms, so if you are concerned it may add some additional information about the vessels, including small or stenotic vessels and the carotids. Also consider thyroid, diabetes, musculoskeletal strain ,eyestrain from computer, allergies,sinusitis, food intolerances ( MSG is classic), mitral valve prolapse,hydrocephalus should have been seen on MRI,and migraines. ...Read more

Some suggestions: The largest lab for genetic testing is athena in massachusetts. Major medical schools have sections on genetic disorders, such as harvard, johns hopkins, mayo clinic, ucla.
