Is contrast absolutely necessary during soft tissue neck MRI for evaluation of mass? I had very unpleasant scary symptoms last time i had contrast.
Tell the MRI folks!: I tend to defer to the radiologists to tell me the best technique or study needed to find what i'm looking for. But if contrast is needed, be sure to tell te MRI techs and doctor what you experienced before.
