I'm getting weird movement under my rib cage on my left side, it feels like a baby ks kicking. What could it be.
I have a fluttery/movement sensation under rib cage followed sometimes with what feels like a beat accompanied by gas. Worse when nervous/anxious?

Ekgs, xrays & blood works all normal. Have a lot of gas in the belly & lots of bubble movement under left rib cage and shortness of breathing at times. Taking prilosec. Is it due to creatine?
Gas entrapment: Gas entrapped in the left upper abdomen may be in the stomach or splenic flexure of the colon. If you can't expel the gas or break it up with drinking warm water or taking simethicone type agents by mouth, applying a hot water bottle to the abdomen may relieve the gaseous discomfort. Possible: It is possible that you are pregnant. Every method of contraception has a failure rate including tubal ligation but, if you have been having regular periods it isn't likely. By the time you feel and see movement at the edge of your ribs, you are close to your due date. It is more likely that this is a GI issue. Something cause the muscle between your ribs to go into spasm, it will feel like you broke a rib. Pain get worst with movement and deep breathing.

Rib or thoracic d/o: Your symptoms could involve a rib fracture or a thoracic spinal problems. The latter could be facet pathology (the joints between vertebral bodies), thoracic disc pathology, or an impinged thoracic spinal nerve. One can get a calendar and write the symptoms down when they occur, including how long it lasts, what one was doing just prior to the symptoms, what makes it better, etc... Right sided pain: If the pain is aggravated by a deep breath it could be emanating from the base of the right lung, a pinched intercostal nerve (which runs between two ribs), injured rib, or inflamed rib cage muscle. I am not sure of what all your symptoms are but most likely spasm. Of note this will happen more with stress or irritable bowel. It will also happen sometimes if there is days between bm or you are constipated.
See your doctor if possible. And drink much water to make sure you are well hydrated.
