Genital herpes?: Genital herpes is the most common cause of genital sores, perhaps with simultaneous oral herpes. Other STDs, e.g. syphilis. Some non-STD viral infections and certain kinds of dermatitis can do it, especially if also skin rash elsewhere. Yeast infection from the prior antibiotic, but pretty late for that. See doc ASAP -- the sooner the better for accurate diagnosis and most effective treatment. ...Read more

During a charity project, I touched a damp towel and did not wash my hands, I might have touched my mouth afterwards, any std risk? Or other disease?

Okay unless...: For average persons, what you did should not contract and develop infection or STD as long as natural barriers - skin & mucosa are not broken and humoral immune ability is adequately at work. In fact, exposure to infective agent does not mean contracting it and contracting it does not mean to develop its related infection. More? Ask doctor timely. ...Read more

I have had oral sex with prostitutes. I have no sypmtoms of an std. If I have no symptoms, will I be ok? Is penis to mouth low risk for stds?

Tough to say: If you have open sores etc, you could be at risk. The act itself brings the prostitutes saliva in contact with your urethral meatus (opening at the end of your penis). That being said, you still may be ok, but this behavior will just drive you crazy and make you think like you are now. Get a full std panel to be safe and know for sure. ...Read more

What STDs can one contract from giving skin-to-skin oral sex to a male without having the male ejaculate in their mouth?

Complex: If there is no ejaculation and semen containing virus does not hit the tonsils or posterior pharynx HIV transmission is not likely. Herpes, gonorrhea, chlamydia and other organisms can be present in pre-ejaculatory secretions, and are often killed by enzymes in saliva, but perhaps not. If there is any question in your mind, get tested and use condoms in the future. Good luck. ...Read more
