Remicade (infliximab) infusion: reactions. You may want to discuss with your doctor his/her logic of not giving pre medications for possible infusion reactions. Some doctors wouldn't, so as not to mask initial signs of a more severe reaction that might ensue, at times simple reactions can be dealt with using antihistamines.
