Mountain Dew Energy Drink
I am getting the shakes and feeling sick and like it is hard to breath. It started yesterday when i drunk a energy drink and today when i drunk a mountain dew..I think i had a panic attack yesterday but im not sure
Panic : Panic attacks are usually brief. They often last a couple of minutes to around ten minutes. Symptoms can include a sense of severe anxiety or panic as well as chest tightness or pain and a rapid or pounding heartbeat. There could also be areas of numbness or pins and needles type sensation. A person can experience hot flashes or chills and perspire heavily. There may be a tickle sensation in the stomach or nausea. When a person has a panic attack they may feel dizzy or faint and may become physically shaky. The person may fear that they are going crazy, they are out of control or that they are about to die. The sense that you have when you feel unreal may be a form of dissassociation called depersonalization. The sense that everything around you feels fake may be derealization. Now, if you are having difficulty breathing and it is not in the context of panic, this needs to be medically evaluated. Avoid it.: It is not healthy. It has very high sugar and Caffine content. 5 times more than a cup of coffee.It makes you more alert for a short time, but it can cause Arrythmia. You should develop better time management skill and not dependent on energy drink for "energy". It gives false sense of control. You also will get addicted to it. Caffeine/stimulants: Caffeine and stimulants can cause you to have less of an appetite for a short while after drinking. No: but depends on how much your drink. A single 5 hour energy has about the same amount of caffeine as 2 large and strong cups of coffee, so it is probably no worse than that. The vitamins and ginseng and other stuff in those drinks is worthless and does no good or harm, but the companies pretend that they give you more energy.
