Mountain Dew Energy Drink
I am getting the shakes and feeling sick and like it is hard to breath. It started yesterday when i drunk a energy drink and today when i drunk a mountain dew..I think i had a panic attack yesterday but im not sure

When a person has a panic attack they may feel dizzy or faint and may become physically shaky. The person may fear that they are going crazy, they are out of control or that they are about to die. The sense that you have when you feel unreal may be a form of dissassociation called depersonalization. The sense that everything around you feels fake may be derealization. Now, if you are having difficulty breathing and it is not in the context of panic, this needs to be medically evaluated. Not doing it: Energy drinks are simply high doses of caffeine, which is not good for people in excess. Energy and stamina do not come out of a pill bottle, or for that matter 5 cups of coffee, although that can be a temporary solution. The long-term answer is good diet, exercise, staying at healthy weight, getting adequate sleep. A therapeutic multivitamin may help if your diet isn't what it should be. ...Read more

Caffeine & sugar: Read labels. Your "energy" drink likely contains a fair amount of caffeine & loads of sugar calories. Have you noticed how you "crash" after the caffeine and sugar wear off a few hours after drinking the product? None: Energy drinks are basically caffeine, and this is not required for good health, the ability to exercise or muscle strength. In fact, many trainers strongly recommend against the use of excessive caffeine for people who are training. The vitamins and other supplements in the drinks are a waste of money. Too much caffeine: If you are feeling "speedy" its because energy drinks can have very large doses of caffeine, and some people are very sensitive to its effects. Sharply cut down, or (better) stop using these products. Natural energy comes from a combination of adequate sleep, exercise and a healthy diet, not from energy drinks. None of them: Proper diet, exercise and healthy lifestyle is what i recommend to anyone for strength. Energy drinks are mostly caffeine, sometimes with unnecessary vitamins or additives that really are unnecessary and useless for most people. Energy drinks are not all the same - some of them are just caffeine, others have large amounts of sugar, and some have caffeine plus a lot of other stuff of unknown usefulness - like vitamins and taurine. Avoid it.: It is not healthy. It has very high sugar and Caffine content. 5 times more than a cup of coffee.It makes you more alert for a short time, but it can cause Arrythmia. You should develop better time management skill and not dependent on energy drink for "energy". It gives false sense of control. You also will get addicted to it.
