Motion After Every Meal In 3 Yrs Old
I have Morning diarrhea with cramps every morning for the past 12 days goes away after an hour or two each time. I'm a healthy active 53 year old ?
Further check-up: There could be many causes for this problem such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome, bacteria and viruses, substance abuse, stress, and reactions to medications. A more detailed history is needed and a stool culture may be advisable. So I suggest a visit to a clinic or Family Doctor. In the meantime probiotics and being careful about irritant foods such as spicy foods, caffeine and alcohol may help. ...Read more
Might: A baby can extract 80% of what is in a breast within 5 min if they are an effective feeder. Some develop a "business only" approach to feeds & do not seem to need or want the nurturing we expect when the breastfeed. When they are feeding that often, they are also more of a snack feeder than a long term feeder. Delaying feeds for 5 min/ time can sometimes push them to feed a bit longer & less often ...Read more

U Need 2 C a GI Dr.: The symptoms that you are describing are not typical of someone who has had their gallbladder removed & is likely unrelated. They are also of such severity and chronicity that you should make an appointment to see a gastroenterologist. They will likely recommend upper endoscopy to look for any abnormalities that may be causing your problems. I hope you get better soon. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
My son aged 3 years is having bowel movement each and every time he eats, mostly in between the meals....Please suggest me a solution.
My five year old daughter has a bowel movement every 3 or 4 days and doesn't urinate when first awakes in morning belly hurts sometimes .. Normal?
NOT NORMAL: There: Should be one formed/soft bm/d. Better if one does twice. Your daughter has constipation. Fecal matter in rectum cause dysfunctional voiding- that she has, which can give rise to recurrent uti. Give 6-8 big glasses/bottle of water/day, more fiber- fruits, vegetables, salad, etc. Miralax (polyethylene glycol) (otc) 1-2 capful in big glass of gatorade/water/juice 1-2/d. Bowel training: sit on toilet 1-2/d until have bm. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
My 9 yrs daughter has abdominal pain almost every morning, before/during/after bowel movement, while having breakfast, sometimes, at dinner time. Why?
55 possible reasons!: However, most common reasons are usually benign. I agree with the other doctors: you need to pay a visit to your doc, and more history needs to be obtained. Make sure stool is not hard (should be like peanut butter in consistency). Make sure eating is not stressful and forceful. Dont ask much about pain, but be very observant, if clear signs of persistent pain then see your doc even sooner. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

Tic or seizure: Sudden involuntary movements in children is suggestive of a tic or seizure disorder. Rarely, a condition called PANDAs is responsible for this. 16 yrs. Lost 35 lb in 6 months by eating more vegetables, less of everything else. Before diet bowel movement once a day. Now only every 3 days. Why?
Water: Veggies and fruit have lots of water. Eating efficiently and properly matching your physiological needs may have set a new baseline for you. Every 3rd day is a big change but not abnormal. The water in the veggies is absorbed, esp. If you are dehydrated. With less fats and proteins in your diet and in the gut, you have less fluid dynamics providing pressure for release. This is not my field, so.. ...Read more

Is 124.2 mg/dl a normal blood sugar level for a 17 years old girl after a meal for after 3 hours ?
Probably normal: Hi. There aren't diagnostic criteria for normal sugar 3 hours after a mixed meal that I'm aware of, but I'd say that seems pretty much normal. Variables would be how much carb and fat were in the mixed meal; they influence how much and how quickly sugar will appear in the blood. If you're worried, talk with your doc about doing a 75-gram oral glucose tolerance test. Good luck! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
My 20 months old toddler has rejected all solid food for three days after vomiting in the mist of a meal. How long do toddler food strike last?
It depends: Three days of no solid food is a long time if he just vomited once in the middle of a meal. Did he vomit more often than that? Is he drinking normally? If he vomited for a day, so you're on day 2 of no food, and he's been drinking and peeing normally, then it's probably a bug that he'll get over. If not, if he's not peeing normally, or you're worried that he's just not "right" see your doctor. ...Read more
