Alcohol & nursing: I'm sorry you know if you're nursing you should not drink or smoke, but for now pump your breast for today & dicard the milk, feed the baby formula, keep the baby hydrated, you also need to drink a lot of water to help flush the alcohol out of your body. Eat Healthy/Exercise: There are no magic bullets for weight loss. Eating a healthy diet & exercise is key. Breastfeeding moms require 200-500 extra calories a day & must drink adequate fluids. Recommend: a balanced diet that includes 5 or more servings fresh fruits/vegetables, daily exercise (walking, yoga, etc); will help lower BP too.
