Probably.: Allergy to proteins in mosquito saliva is common but immunotherapy (allergy injections) is neither effective nor necessary. With continued exposure almost everyone develops tolerance to mosquitoes in their locale. When they go elsewhere they're bitten by other mosquitoes & often reactions reappear.
